Job description

Al Rashed Food Company is looking for a Key Accounts Manager to drive growth and manage company Key Accounts of Modern Trade clients across Saudi Arabia.

The ideal candidate will focus on driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and ensuring operational excellence. They will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, overseeing promotional activities, and ensuring seamless supply chain coordination to maintain product availability and quality.

What you'll do:

  1. Strategic Account Management & Business Growth
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with major retail chains, hypermarkets, supermarkets, and regional Key account clients across KS.
  • Identify growth opportunities within product categories and implement strategies to increase market share and revenue.
  • Negotiate and execute annual agreements, pricing structures, and promotional deals with key accounts.
  • Ensure product placement, visibility, and availability in all key retail outlets.
  • Ensure targets by category are achieved for all modern trade customers.
  • Sales & Performance Monitoring
    • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within assigned product categories across all Modern Trade Outlets.
    • Monitor and analyze sell-through data, inventory levels, and sales trends to optimize product distribution.
    • Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts, presenting performance insights and proposing data-driven solutions.
  • Retail Planning & Execution
    • Work closely with the sales teams to ensure timely deliveries and prevent stock shortages.
    • Optimize demand forecasting and inventory planning to maintain product freshness, especially for short shelf-life products like bakery and pastry.
    • Ensure in-store merchandising and displays are aligned with brand standards and marketing plans. Planograms should be followed based on shop category.
    • Develop and execute new product listings, promotional campaigns, in-store activations, and seasonal product launches for all relevant categories.
  • Customer Relationship Management & Service Excellence
    • Act as the primary contact for all Modern Trade customers, ensuring seamless communication and high service levels.
    • Address operational, pricing, or supply chain issues promptly to maintain strong customer relations.
    • Conduct market visits to assess customer performance, gather feedback, perform price surveys, and monitor competitor activities.
    • Hold quarterly business reviews with all Modern Trade customers, presenting performance and future plans.

    What you'll require:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
    • 5-8 years of experience in the FMCG industry in KSA.
    • Proven track record of managing modern trade and retail chains in KSA.
    • Experience working in KSA, mainly in the Fresh Food category, is highly preferred.
    • Arabic language skills are highly preferred.
