Job description

Role Purpose:

The primary responsibility of the Key Account Executive 1 is to align GTC strategy with customer needs by developing mutual business opportunities. This role requires maximizing short- and long-term sales and profitability, and building long-term successful business relationships with customers to become the preferred supplier.

Job Accountabilities & Activities:

  1. Accountable for achieving sales volumes and growth targets by brand for assigned customers.
  2. Develop customer-specific business plans in alignment with key customers and ensure proper implementation.
  3. Monitor customer business performance and collaboratively develop action plans to address shortfalls.
  4. Define strategic direction for Retail Key Account customers in coordination with NKAM.
  5. Maximize the visibility of GTC products within channels and customers, balancing customer priorities with brand objectives.
  6. Prepare and conduct regular customer business planning reviews and propose actions to accelerate growth.
  7. Coordinate with Trade Marketing to develop tailor-made promotions aligned with category objectives and business development needs.
  8. Forecast sales by key customers, identify gaps, and propose actions to overcome them.
  9. Manage financial performance of Key Account Customers to improve return on investment, utilizing CCS and SPPE as business management tools.
  10. Gather and report on customer trends, needs, and competitor information.
  11. Lead and control direct reports to maximize performance and teamwork.
  12. Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  13. Develop and update Customer Profiles/Scorecards.
  14. Follow up on collection and payment processes with customers.

Education & Certifications:

University Degree; fluency in English and Arabic required.

Required Years of Experience:

At least 2 years of sales operation experience; marketing experience is an advantage.
