Job summary

areebhr is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, test, and oversee the manufacturing of mechanical components and thermal systems. You will apply mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials science to solve complex problems, create 3D models, and bring products from concept to production.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet safety and quality standards, and support manufacturing through material selection, prototyping, and testing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 0–1 years of hands-on mechanical design experience.
  • Experience with 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo).
  • Experience with FEA/CFD is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Mechanical Design & Modeling: Create detailed 3D CAD models, assembly drawings, and schematics for mechanical systems using tools like SolidWorks, Inventor, or Creo.
  • Analysis & Simulation: Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and stress/thermal calculations to validate structural integrity and performance.
  • Prototyping & Testing: Build, test, and evaluate physical prototypes, analyzing performance data to refine and optimize mechanical designs.
  • Manufacturing & Material Selection: Select appropriate materials, manufacturing processes, and tolerance standards to balance performance, reliability, and production costs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with electrical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless system integration and resolve technical issues during production.
