Junior Interior Architect

Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development of architectural interior design projects, from conceptualization to execution.
Collaborate with senior architects, stakeholders, and project teams to develop functional, aesthetically pleasing design solutions.
Create detailed technical drawings and architectural plans using professional design software.
Support the selection and specification of finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) that balance style, function, and budget.
Provide design support and technical expertise to project teams.
Ensure designs comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and other relevant legal requirements.
Participate in initial client consultations to assess needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
Assist in presenting design concepts and proposals, incorporating client feedback throughout the design process.
Help manage project timelines and schedules to meet key milestones and delivery deadlines.
Support the procurement process, including liaising with vendors to optimize quality and cost.
Maintain an up-to-date professional portfolio showcasing past projects and design achievements.
Conduct research on design trends, materials, and industry best practices.
Perform quality control checks to ensure all deliverables meet high standards.
Coordinate architectural, MEP, and ID drawings and documentation, including shop drawings and as-built submissions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in interior architecture and design.
Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite).
Basic understanding of building systems, codes, and construction processes.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Creative thinker with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
