Job Purpose:

The position is responsible for: Supporting our organization's commitment to workplace safety. This role involves coordinating health and safety policies, scheduling and providing training, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a safe work environment for all employees by supporting the LSA Health and Safety Engineer with maintaining the OHSMS and routine activities to maintain Legal Compliance for all National Lucy sites.

Sites: LSA Satellite Offices including LSA Jeddah, LSA Riyadh, Regional Headquarters and LSA Dammam Operations

Key Accountabilities

  • Support the administrative and regulatory management systems for LSA operations
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and update health and safety documentation, including risk assessments and incident reports.
  • Coordinate safety training programs to ensure employees are informed of best practices.
  • Conduct workplace safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and industry-specific health and safety regulations.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support emergency response planning and conduct drills.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure timely reporting of incidents when required.
  • Provide administrative support for health and safety committees and meetings.
  • Promote a culture of health and safety awareness across the organization.

Secondary Tasks

  • To be an active part of the LSA Operational team to manage the above tasks daily.
  • To undertake any other related duties and responsibilities as required by the department.
  • Adherence to all Company Health & Safety Policies, Procedures and Safe Working Practices.
  • Must be willing to travel by both land and air for Business related tasks

Job Context

The position is responsible for:

  • Health and safety systems administration
  • Health and safety training scheduling
  • Reducing workplace Hazards and Risks.
  • Support maintaining Legal Compliance for LSA sites

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

This role is intended as a development opportunity ensuring structured growth, allowing the individual to gain hands-on Health and Safety experience while receiving training towards a professional qualification.

A Level 3 qualification in Occupational Health and Safety would be desirable.

Minimum Experience: Previous experience in Occupational Health and Safety administration in an engineering firm would be beneficial

Job-Specific Skills: Good communicator in both English and Arabic. PC literate and must be familiar with MS Office.
