Background : The "EU-GCC Dialogue on Economic Diversification II" project aims to strengthen economic relations between the European Union (EU) and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) through enhanced trade, investment, and regulatory cooperation. The project supports the economic diversification agendas of the GCC countries in line with the EU's strategic partnership objectives within the region.
DAI is looking for a Junior Events Manager
Role Overview : The Junior Events Manager will work with the project team to manage project events. The manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining the project’s events calendar and for its successful execution. This will involve liaising within the team and with external stakeholders to plan and manage all aspects of events that are supported by the project, including logistical details as well as technical / subject matter content and materials. The manager will also liaise with the project Communications and Visibility Manager to ensure that the technical and content units contributions are suitably prepared and delivered.

Reporting : The Junior Events Manager will report to the Project Team Leader and coordinate closely with the Communications and Visibility Manager and relevant project staff.
Duration : Long-term assignment (Non-Key Expert), 250 days.
Note : This is a Non-Key Expert (NKE) position and will be mobilised in accordance with project work plans and specific activity requirements.
