We are looking for a Junior Chemist to support lab testing and quality control within a fast-paced coating's environment. Ideal for candidates looking to grow in a hands-on laboratory role.
Join our innovative coatings team to test advanced paint and surface solutions.
Daily focus and control on production batch process Quality tests
Lead the daily laboratory operations and important metrics
Enters formulations in AX, PV system and verifywith Senior chemist
Coordinate for the product costing under the guidance of Senior chemist
Run Commercial request on WSR, Batch certificate, New products Query etc
Controls production batches to ensure that product specifications are met.
Assists in issuing batch certificates.
Handle Service request – from CRM and group Quality team
Conducts Root Cause Analysis for registered complaints and 5 boxes
Approves color match and maintain records as per E-Convention.
Performs calibration of laboratory equipment and maintenance and updating of data on time
Tests incoming raw materials.
Creates batch cards and handle other documents COA, approved color cards, approved batch cards, reference samples etc
Revalidation of products as per procedure
Actively initiate andinvolve in Quality improvement projects
To ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
To ensure that a safe and healthy work environment exists by adhering to company health, safety and environment policies
What we’re looking for:
Degree in Paint Technology.
2 years’ experience in Quality Control Lab of a Paint Manufacturing Company.
Knowledge of raw materials.
Knowledge to use any ERP system.
Awareness about QMS (ISO 9001).
Analytical and problem solving skills
Knowledge of Quality Control Techniques
Positive demeanor towards work
