Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Junior Architect to join our team!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Architect Manager and Engineering team in managing and reviewing architectural design submissions from consultants and contractors.

  • Support the design review process to ensure compliance with project requirements, hospitality standards, and local authority regulations in KSA.

  • Coordinate with internal disciplines (MEP, Civil, ID, etc.) to support integrated design reviews and multidisciplinary coordination.

  • Contribute to the preparation of design commentaries, reports, logs, and presentations under guidance.

  • Monitor progress of design deliverables in alignment with project timelines and PMC procedures.

  • Participate in site visits and inspections to ensure design intent is reflected during construction.

  • Assist in tracking design-related RFIs, submittals, and responses through the project document control system (e.g., Aconex).

  • Stay current on KSA building codes, hospitality design trends, and authority approval processes (e.g., MOMRA, Civil Defense, Royal Commission).


Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a recognized university.

  • Minimum of 1 internship in the construction sector (consultant, contractor, or PMC).

  • Basic understanding of luxury hospitality design requirements.

  • Familiarity with PMC roles and responsibilities in managing complex projects.

  • Knowledge of KSA development regulations and approval processes.

  • Proficiency in design and presentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, MS Office).

  • Strong communication skills in both Arabic and English.
