Job summary

Bayut, part of the Dubizzle Group, is seeking a Junior Accountant to support regional operations in cost analysis, accounts payable, fixed asset management and month-end reporting. You will own G/L accounts, manage accruals, review invoices, respond to vendor inquiries, reconcile statements, and assist in tax returns and process improvements.

The role requires 3–5 years of G/L experience, ERP exposure (Netsuite preferred) and strong Excel skills. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting from a recognized institution.
• 3–5 years of G/L experience in a fast-paced environment with cost analysis exposure.
• Experience with ERP systems; Netsuite preferred.
• Experience using PO software.
• Good knowledge of KSA tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own the G/L accounts to ensure consistent cost allocations.
• Be accountable for monthly accrual process.
• Review all invoices for documentation and approval prior to payment.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and reconcile statements.
• Assist in month end closing and posting transactions to ledgers.
• Prepare analysis of accounts and provide internal management reporting.
• Undertake intercompany posting and reconciliations.
• Assist in tax returns preparation and process improvements.
