II. POSITION SUMMARY

Working from the Project Office, supporting the Project Execution team, the incumbent will interact with the Site team to collate EH&S data for analysis. The incumbent is responsible for establishing databases that track all EH&S incident data at the Project. A good knowledge of EH&S across all phases of construction and commissioning is expected.

III. Principal Accountabilities

This position is accountable for:

  1. Collecting and managing EHS data from various sources including incident reports, safety inspections, compliance audits, and Observation registers.
  2. Analyzing EHS data to identify trends, patterns, and areas of concern.
  3. Supporting the development and implementation of safety campaigns.
  4. Tracking the close-out of actions through Aman.
  5. Participating in RCA’s when requested.
  6. Generating regular reports (Monthly, Quarterly / Annual) on EHS performance, including incident rates, compliance levels, and progress towards EHS goals.
  7. Working closely with other EHS staff to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
  8. Utilizing data analysis tools and software to manage and analyze EHS data effectively.
  9. Assisting in the development of EHS policies and procedures based on data analysis.
  10. Supporting EHS audits and inspections by providing necessary data and analysis.
  11. Training staff and contractors on data collection and reporting procedures.
  12. Staying current on local, national, and international EHS regulations to ensure compliant reporting.
  13. Participating in EHS meetings and presenting data analysis findings.
  14. Familiarity with BSP tools and their use.
  15. Attending EHS meetings and preparing Minutes of Meeting (MoM).
  16. Supporting contractors in monitoring Action Tracking Registers.
  17. Supporting training and awareness campaigns.
  18. Updating information on the EHS board.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Science, Data Science, Occupational Safety, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Proven experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of EHS regulations and standards.
  • Proficiency with data analysis software/tools such as SAP-EM, Qliksense, MS-Forms, and Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications / Skills
  • Prior experience in an EHS role.
  • Certification in data analysis or related field.
  • Arabic language skills.
