HEAD OF ARABIC DEPARTMENT (OVERSEAS HIRE)
Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Start Date: August 2025
Contract period: 2 years

Curriculum: National Curriculum of England and Wales
School Type: 100% Arab (85% Saudi Nationals)
This is a bilingual school of separate boys and girls campuses, that combine an international curriculum with an ethos that strongly promotes the ideals and culture of the Middle East. All students speak English as a second language.

Qualifications: Bachelor Degree (preferable major in Arabic) plus Teaching Qualification. This is an overseas hire position.

Experience: Minimum 4 years required, with Head of Department background, teaching IGCSE & A-Level or DP Arabic.

Age Range: Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 5 - This position includes a 50% teaching load.

Gender: Female

Teachers are expected to be part of the KED program in the school, which focuses on personalized learning. The teacher plays four major roles: personal coach, subject expert, general teacher, and team member in the KED Network. Professional development of teachers is a major focus of the KED Program.
