IT Manager

We're seeking a driven IT Manager to join our Fulfillment & Operations IT team, responsible for keeping our busy Fulfillment Centers operational. These facilities operate 24/7, handling a large, fast-moving inventory of products. Your role will involve resolving complex hardware, software, server, and infrastructure issues to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain high standards in IT maintenance and troubleshooting, adhering to Amazon policies and guidelines, including IT and Health & Safety standards.
  • Coordinate trouble tickets and change management processes to meet strict SLAs.
  • Manage IT projects, overseeing your team's technical tasks and fostering IT ownership among team members.
  • Develop and manage the IT budget throughout its lifecycle.
  • Support IT skill development of Fulfillment Center staff.
  • Lead staffing, scheduling, and shift planning for your team.
  • Drive continuous improvement of IT processes and operational excellence within the Fulfillment department.
A Day in the Life
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline (nice-to-have).
  • Understanding of core internet technologies: DHCP, DNS, mail transport, TCP/IP, network file systems.
  • CISCO experience and certifications.
  • Support certifications in Unix/Linux and/or Microsoft Windows systems.
  • Knowledge of telecom technologies, including VOIP/SIP and mobile tech.
  • Experience in help desk, technical support, or Service Delivery with SLAs.
  • ITIL and Prince2 certifications (advantageous).
  • Willingness to develop skills for supporting Fulfillment Center Automated Systems.
  • Experience in procurement, inventory, and asset management of IT equipment.
