Purpose of Job

Jobholders at this level are responsible for leading work activities and working autonomously with minor direction towards predetermined long-term objectives.

They oversee the implementation of operational plans and the provision of significant improvements to set policies, procedures, standards, and reports.

Their main operational role includes supervising the development and implementation of IT security projects, managing the implementation of IT security projects, and recommending corrective actions to stakeholders. They lead IT security assessments and audits, provide reports to relevant stakeholders, supervise the IT security compliance program, and monitor project performance against KPIs, ensuring proper corrective actions are taken.

Job Responsibilities

IT Security Implementation

1. Gather requirements for ZATCA IT security projects, develop project plans, and implement them in collaboration with stakeholders to meet IT security objectives.
2. Prepare the IT risk assessment environment, conduct periodic assessments, update the risk register, and share results with IT Security Architecture and stakeholders.
3. Support the development and implementation of IT security compliance programs and audits, ensuring they are completed within budget, time, and quality standards, and report results for improvement.
4. Monitor project progress, analyze performance against KPIs, identify corrective actions, and report progress to stakeholders.

Organization and Operations

1. Adhere to relevant policies, processes, and SOPs to ensure controlled and consistent work execution.
2. Assist in resolving escalated problems and support junior team members to ensure efficient work processes.
3. Escalate complex issues to relevant personnel for proper resolution.
4. Perform additional duties as assigned.

People Management

1. Train junior staff to transfer knowledge and skills.
2. Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and monitor workflow.
3. Support staff in executing their duties according to policies and processes.
