Job Description

1. Lead and manage IT infrastructure projects from initiation to completion, including scoping, planning, execution, and closure, while ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
2. Collaborate with clients to define project requirements, objectives, and success criteria, and develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocations to meet project goals.
3. Coordinate project resources, including internal project teams, external vendors, and contractors, to ensure efficient project execution and delivery of project deliverables.
4. Monitor project progress, update project management tool, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.
5. Communicate project status, updates, and issues to clients and stakeholders through regular meetings, reports, and presentations, and escalate critical issues to senior management as required.
6. Ensure compliance with IT infrastructure best practices, standards, and security requirements, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize project delivery processes and outcomes.
7. Manage project budgets, expenses, and financial forecasts, and oversee procurement processes, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and invoice processing.
8. Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment, and promoting knowledge sharing and skills development.
9. Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to capture best practices, identify areas for improvement, and drive ongoing innovation and excellence in IT infrastructure project delivery.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field; PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure project management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
3. In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies and solutions, including networking, systems administration, cloud services, and security.
4. Strong project management skills, including project scoping, planning, execution, monitoring, and control, and experience leading cross-functional project teams.
5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
6. Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience driving results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
7. Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Smartsheet, and familiarity with IT infrastructure technology platforms.
8. Knowledge of IT infrastructure best practices, standards, and security requirements, and experience implementing IT infrastructure projects in diverse environments.
