Job description

We are seeking an experienced IT Governance & Controls Project Manager with a strong focus on IT Governance and IT Controls. This position is a contract role through a third-party, not directly with the company.

JOB PURPOSE

To manage, develop, implement, and update IT strategies, plans and governance models in order to align IT systems, applications, infrastructure, and operations to business requirements.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

IT Planning and Governance

  • Support in managing the development, implementation and updating of the IT strategy, plans, policies, procedures, guidelines to meet overall strategic objectives, while aligning to industry best practices.
  • Support in managing the development, implementation and updating of the IT governance model, policies and procedures and oversee its enforcement across the organization.
  • Perform enterprise analysis exercise to identify technology strategies and solutions that may be needed to successfully execute business strategies.
  • Support in managing the design, development, and implementation of the enterprise architecture for all IT infrastructure, networks and applications to align with the business; focus on standardization and consolidation where possible, to drive efficiencies.
  • Act as a liaison between business operations and IT and ensure that data related requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and well understood.
  • Perform application changes that may result from application incident management activities and requests, in coordination with the development teams.
  • Support in managing, developing, implementing and monitoring business continuity plans to ensure proper prevention and recovery from potential IT threats.
  • Support in managing, developing, implementing and monitoring IT change management plans and activities to ensure resilience to environmental and business changes.
  • Develop the methodology of IT Governance
  • Supporting architecture governance functions
  • Continuously monitor compliance with IT policies and controls
  • Analyzing and select IT vendors & solutions
  • Measures the integration maturity model and proposes initiatives to improve the level of Organization integration maturity

Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and Reports

  • Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate reports and functional deliverables to meet the functional requirements in order to achieve the desired efficiency and performance excellence.
