Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an IT Operations Team Lead located in Jeddah. The IT Operations Team Lead will oversee day-to-day IT operations, manage a team of IT professionals, and provide technical support. Responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems, and implementing new IT solutions. The role also involves coordinating with various departments to ensure that IT services align with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of IT operations including infrastructure, networks, servers, storage, and cloud services.
  • Lead and mentor the IT operations team, providing guidance, performance reviews, and professional development support.
  • Ensure uptime, performance, and security of systems across the organization.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Manage vendor relationships, licensing, procurement, and SLAs.
  • Collaborate with other departments and executive leadership on IT strategy and alignment with business goals.
  • Design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Monitor emerging technologies and recommend solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in IT operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong technical expertise in network administration, systems management (Windows/Linux), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Proficiency in IT monitoring and automation tools (e.g., Splunk, Zabbix, Nagios).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong project management capabilities and ability to manage multiple priorities.
