Duration: 6 months + (extendable)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled IT Network Technician to support and maintain our network infrastructure at the Safinya location. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of network systems, troubleshoot issues, and assist in implementing upgrades.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Ensure network security and data integrity.
Assist in the setup and maintenance of servers, switches, routers, and firewalls.
Document network configurations and maintenance activities.
Support end-users with technical issues related to network access.
Collaborate with IT team to plan and implement network improvements.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an IT Network Technician or similar role.
Knowledge of network hardware, protocols, and security best practices.
Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, or other networking equipment is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA) preferred but not mandatory.
