The role involves managing technical teams and assuring system performance through SAP and other technologies, ensuring data integrity aligns with business needs. Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Head of IT to lead our IT operations and strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP systems Microsoft products, including development, upgrades, and troubleshooting. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage technical teams, improve system performance, ensure data integrity, and support business operations through technology.
Key Responsibilities:
•Oversee the implementation, development, and upgrades of the SAP system (including modules such as MM, SD, FI, etc.).
•Ensure system performance, security, and stability across all IT platforms.
•Manage SAP reports development and modifications based on business requirements.
•Modify and update pricing structures within the SAP system as needed.
•Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including system errors, user problems, and integration failures.
•Liaise with internal stakeholders to identify IT-related improvements and ensure alignment with business needs.
•Supervise IT staff, vendors, and consultants.
•Plan and execute system upgrades and enhancements with minimal disruption to operations.
•Ensure compliance with data security policies and industry best practices.
Skills
Preferred Skills:
•Experience with SAP HANA, ABAP development, and data migration.
•Familiarity with other enterprise systems (CRM, WMS, etc.).
•Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2) is a plus.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
•Minimum 7–10 years of experience in IT roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
•Strong hands-on experience with SAP systems, including development, configuration, and upgrades.
•Proven experience in modifying pricing and other business-critical data in SAP.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
