IT Infrastructure Manager

The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, cloud platforms, and security systems. This role ensures high availability, performance, and security of all infrastructure components while supporting business objectives and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management & Operations

• Oversee the administration, maintenance, and optimization of IT infrastructure, including data centres, networks, and cloud environments.
• Manage infrastructure-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of IT systems.
• Implement and maintain monitoring tools for proactive infrastructure performance management.

Security & Compliance

• Ensure infrastructure security aligns with regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., NCA, Aramco, ISO 20000).
• Implement and maintain security policies, firewalls, access controls, and vulnerability management processes.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to identify and mitigate risks.

Cloud & Virtualization

• Manage cloud-based and hybrid infrastructure solutions (Oracle, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Oversee virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Kubernetes.

Network & Communication Systems

• Maintain and optimize network architecture, including LAN, WAN, VPNs, and SD-WAN.
• Ensure network redundancy and disaster recovery capabilities.

Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery

• Develop and maintain disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity plans (BCP).
• Conduct regular DR tests and audits.

Team Leadership & Vendor Management

• Lead and mentor the IT infrastructure team, ensuring continuous skill development.
• Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and third-party consultants.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Experience: 8+ years in IT infrastructure management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Certifications (Preferred): CCNP, Azure, Oracle/Google Certified, ITIL, CISSP.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms (OCI, Azure, GCP).
• Expertise in networking, firewalls, and security frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization and storage solutions.
• Soft Skills: Leadership, problem-solving, and strong communication skills.
