IT Infrastructure Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of our data center, including: managing physical servers, virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V), and network infrastructure, ensuring efficient resource allocation and high availability.
• Monitor and optimize servers’ performance and conduct regular server health checks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve servers’ problems, collaborating with the IT support team as needed.
• Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure.
• Ensure all systems and configurations are complied with hospital policies and industry standards.
• Administer and maintain network infrastructure (routers, switches, and Wi-Fi)
• set up, monitor and upgrade wireless infrastructures (Wi-Fi controllers, access points)
• Database Management: installation, configuration, backup, and performance tuning.
• Administer and maintain Active Directory services
• Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity.
• Ensure the stability, security, and scalability of the Hospital IT infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions aligned with business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in computer science/engineering
• 3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management or virtualization
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V ) and network infrastructure (Cisco, Aruba) in enterprise environments
• Ability to interpret network diagrams and troubleshoot complex environments
• Proficient with server operations and maintenance, including system optimization and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
