IT Infrastructure Capacity & Performance Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor resource utilization, system performance, and health across hybrid infrastructure environments (cloud and on-premises).

• Forecast capacity requirements using predictive analytics and historical performance trends.

• Analyze performance bottlenecks and recommend tuning or scaling strategies for compute, storage, and network components.

• Utilize AIOps and monitoring tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, SPLUNK) for real-time insights and anomaly detection.

• Conduct regular capacity planning exercises to support business growth and IT transformation initiatives.

• Generate clear, impactful reports and dashboards using tools like Grafana, Kibana, and Power BI for various audiences, including senior leadership.

• Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and application teams to address performance issues and optimize system efficiency.

• Participate in operational reviews and contribute to infrastructure-related decision-making.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

• Hands-on experience in infrastructure performance tuning, capacity planning, and SNMP monitoring tools.

• Familiarity with AIOps and performance platforms such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, SPLUNK, or similar.

• Strong skills in data analysis, trend forecasting, and reporting.

• Proficient with visualization tools: Grafana, Kibana, Power BI.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills; ability to translate technical findings into business insights.

• Certification in performance monitoring, capacity planning, or analytics tools is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud infrastructure performance monitoring (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Knowledge of ITIL processes or other IT operations frameworks.

• Familiarity with scripting or automation tools (Python, Bash, etc.) for performance data extraction or report automation.
