Job description
  • Receive Repair Request tasks from Maintenance Team Leader and carry-out repair activities in accordance with the set Work Instructions (WI) and Machine Manuals in order to get the machine back into adequate working condition.
  • Seek Lead Technician or Team Leader assistance in troubleshooting breakdowns upon need.
  • Request Spare Parts using the Spare Parts Requisition Form and relay the request to Maintenance Team Leader for pre-approval in order to ensure adequate spare part consumption.
  • Upon repair completion, clean the working area according to Post Maintenance Cleaning WI in order to handle back the area clean and free from any work residues.
  • Upon repair completion, write the Finishing Time, task description, any pending tasks or newly discovered findings on the Repair Request Form (RRF) in order to document records.
  • Upon repair completion, seek Production Team Leader feedback and approval on the RRF, prior to submitting same to Maintenance Team Leader to ensure Production satisfaction on the performed task.
  • Receive Scheduled and Preventive Maintenance tasks from Maintenance Team Leader, carry-out activities according to the set checklists and highlight any new findings for further scheduling.
  • Carry-out In-house Calibration tasks based on Maintenance Team Leader instructions, according to the set Calibration Work Instructions.
  • Assume 5S duties according to the set 5S plan to enhance working conditions.

Safety Responsibility:

  • Become familiar with the health and safety procedures and instructions of his/her function(s) of work.
  • Follow NAPCO-IFP safety standards and comply with Saudi Labour rules and legislation. Contribute to the different OH&S activities, and attend safety meetings as required.
  • Attend all training offered by the company.
  • Report any incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions or acts to his/her direct supervisor, or to the camp boss in case they are related to the accommodation.
  • Immediately correct unsafe conditions, if safe to do so and where possible.
  • Ensure that all safety precautions are in place before starting any work. Refuse to perform work when unsafe conditions exist. Report all incidents and near misses to their supervisor. Use the provided PPE safety equipment.
  • Inspect tools, equipment and vehicles before use.
  • Be familiar with the emergency response plan and location of first aid, firefighting equipment.
