Job description

We are hiring for "Sous Chef" (Iranian / Persian Cuisine) for a leading Fine Dine Restaurant in Saudi Arabia


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production and presentation.
  • Supervise and coordinate with other chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and organization.
  • Develop menus, recipes, and pricing strategies in collaboration with the restaurant management team.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards by implementing proper procedures and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, stock levels, and expenses to optimize resource utilization.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 5-10 years of experience as an Iranian Sous Chef or similar role in a hotel or restaurant setting.
  • BHM (Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management) or Diploma in Any Specialization preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of Persian cuisine and ability to develop innovative dishes using local ingredients.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role, with a strong emphasis on Iranian / Persian cuisine.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience in a reputable restaurant.
  • In-depth knowledge of Iranian ingredients, spices, and cooking techniques.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for customer service.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices.

Work Experience:

Minimum 5 years experience in Persian cuisine at HC level, creative, can fusion the taste to adapt to company requirement, able to do recipe of dishes, experience working F& B system, Pre opening experience is plus. Good with Training staff, trained with Iranian chef.

  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to work long hours in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Salary & Perks: 5000-7000 SAR + Other Benefits
