Job description

This role brings deep expertise in gaming investment and deal‑making into the Investor and Startup Programme infrastructure. The primary mandate is designing the investment programmes and deal‑making activations that make Gaming event the strongest investment event in the global gaming calendar. The role also flexes across the broader Investor and startup program portfolio, supporting investor programming at other events where sector knowledge and investor relationships add value. The event provides the structure; this person provides the sector depth, does the heavy lifting with the gaming and tech investment community, and raises the bar on investor experience across every event they touch.

Responsibilities
  • Design gaming investment programmes and deal‑making formats for gaming conference that attract international investors, publishers and funds, and set a global standard for capital‑meets‑talent events.
  • Build and own the gaming investor pipeline from scratch—identify gaming VCs, publisher venture arms, sovereign funds with gaming mandates, angel networks, and accelerator programmes and conduct targeted outreach.
  • Manage the investor application and vetting process, verifying fund credentials, investment thesis alignment, and genuine intent to engage with gaming studios and founders.
  • Develop the content and format for all gaming investment activations: reverse pitches, hosted buyer programmes, closed‑door investor roundtables, and live deal‑making showcases.
  • Work with the B2B Content Producer to ensure the investment content track is credible, current, and attracts the right calibre of participant.
  • Design the investor experience end‑to‑end—investor lounge, curated sessions, concierge meetings, and investor‑only programming that delivers a premium environment.
  • Own the investor‑side matchmaking process by working with internal teams to ensure match quality and deal relevance are high.
  • Manage investor delegate communications, matchmaking logistics, and on‑site facilitation to ensure the programme delivers real outcomes, not just introductions.
  • Track and report on investment programme outcomes: deals initiated, capital committed, and follow‑up meetings generated.
  • Support the investor programme across other Investor & Startup program portfolio events, contributing investor relationships, outreach, and programming input where sector knowledge adds value.
  • Contribute to investor outreach campaigns across portfolio events with the marketing and cross‑functional teams.
  • Provide investor program cover for senior team members during high‑volume pre‑event and on‑ground periods.
  • Curate a balanced high‑quality investor room for each assigned event reflecting that event’s sector focus and strategic objectives.
  • Programme investor‑focused roundtables, LP introductions, and deal‑flow sessions in collaboration with the special value programmes team.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date investor records in internal management tools covering fund details, investment thesis, meeting history, and post‑event feedback.
  • Track investor programme KPIs across assigned events: investor count, AUM represented, meetings held, investment signals generated, and investor NPS.
  • Conduct post‑event investor debriefs, gather feedback, and share improvement recommendations with the program lead.
  • Maintain and nurture investor relationships year‑round, ensuring warm relationships carry forward into future editions.
  • Develop new ideas for value‑driven investor programme features and lead on concept note development for future editions.
Qualifications
  • 4–5 years of experience in investor relations, investor programme management, or VC/LP engagement ideally within an event, ecosystem, or gaming industry context.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the gaming investment landscape: VCs, publisher venture arms, sovereign funds with gaming mandates, angel networks. This is the core credential.
  • Demonstrable experience curating and managing high‑touch investor experiences, not just registration and logistics, but genuine investor engagement design.
  • Strong existing network within the gaming and tech investment community, particularly in MENA, APAC, or Europe.
  • Understanding of how the gaming investment chain works from pre‑seed accelerators through to sovereign capital deployment.
  • Sector knowledge in cybersecurity, fintech, or other technology verticals is an advantage for cross‑portfolio event support.
  • Excellent relationship management skills, able to manage senior investor relationships with professionalism and discretion.
  • Comfortable working across multiple simultaneous events with different investors, geographies, and sector focuses.
  • Experience with investor management platforms, CRM tools, and event management systems.
  • Strong written English is mandatory; Arabic is a meaningful advantage.
What You Will Bring
  • Deep expertise in gaming investment and deal‑making is the non‑negotiable. Must understand how funding rounds, publishing deals, and M&A transactions work in gaming and know the regional investors, funds, and studios that matter, particularly across Saudi Arabia and MENA.
  • Comfortable in investor conversations and able to hold their own in a room with fund managers, portfolio directors, and publishing executives.
  • Able to design investor programmes from the ground up that bring international capital to an event and raise the bar on what a gaming investment activation can be.
  • Equally capable of plugging into broader Investor and startup programmes across events and adding immediate value through relationships and sector credibility.
