The Investment Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the operational, administrative, and regulatory functions of Retal and its associates' investment portfolios. The primary role is to manage investments to maximize returns in line with the investment objectives and risk profiles of Retal and its associates.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial information to forecast business, industry, and economic conditions for investment decision-making.
- Finalize IPO regulatory processes.
- Prepare and finalize all investment aspects within the group.
- Establish investment management policies and procedures to improve workflow and efficiency.
- Gather and analyze financial statements, industry, regulatory, and economic information, including new legislation and financial publications.
- Interpret data on price, yield, stability, and future trends of investments.
- Summarize trends in investment risks and economic influences relevant to investments.
- Prepare reports with charts and graphs to illustrate investment trends, payoffs, and risks for the Board.
- Recommend investment timing and buy/sell decisions.
- Maintain spreadsheets tracking financial performance of investment options.
- Recommend modifications to investment policies.
- Conduct special studies on new investments and ventures.
- Perform feasibility studies, surveys, and analytical research.
- Ensure activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
- Contribute to corporate policy development, especially regarding regulatory matters.
- Prepare annual budgets and monthly comparison reports for the company and subsidiaries.
- Manage fund financing and attract investors.
- Evaluate fund performance and understand legal aspects of funds, including banks, investment portfolios, and private equity.
