Inventory Controller

Alkaffary Group is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Controller Accountant to join our finance and inventory management team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all inventory-related financial transactions, ensuring accurate accounting records, and conducting regular inventory reconciliations. Your expertise will help us maintain precise inventory valuation and reporting, which are critical for informed decision-making and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory accounting records in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Perform regular inventory reconciliations and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and accounting records.
• Prepare detailed inventory reports for financial analysis and management review.
• Assist in the monthly close process by providing inventory-related information and analytics.
• Collaborate with the inventory control team to ensure accurate costing and valuation of inventory.
• Review transactions related to inventory purchases, sales, and adjustments.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of internal controls related to inventory management.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting, preferably with a focus on inventory management.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and inventory valuation methods.
• Proficiency in accounting software and inventory management systems.
• Excellent analytical and detail-oriented skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
