Position Overview

Responsible for managing stock levels to ensure optimal inventory availability, minimize wastage, and reduce costs. They play a critical role in tracking, analyzing, and forecasting inventory to support smooth operations and meet customer demands efficiently.

This role demands a balance between operational efficiency and strategic planning, making it essential for maintaining the company’s retail success.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management:
• Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels in stores and warehouses.
• Perform regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and records.
• Data Analysis and Reporting:
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, slow-moving items, and shortages.
• Prepare detailed reports for management, including stock turnover and inventory valuation.
• Record Keeping:
• Maintain the details of inventory updates as approved by the management.
• Loss Prevention:
• Identify and prevent inventory shrinkage due to theft, damage, or mismanagement.
• Implement measures to enhance security and reduce losses.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Liaise with sales, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Communicate inventory-related updates and issues to management.
• Compliance and Standards:
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to inventory handling.
