Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the inventory and property of all hospital resources.
  • Receive new hospital resources.
  • Register the main data of the resources in the inventory database and put a tag and security sticker on each resource.
  • Report to the department head for any problem or requested material.
  • Demonstrate proper knowledge & implementation of the hospital & departmental policies & procedures.
  • Participate in all quality improvement activities within his/her department.
  • Show compliance with laws & regulations governing the privacy & confidentiality of data & information.
  • Show compliance to standards of ethical conduct.

Qualification & Experience Requirements:

  • Degree in business administration or related field.
  • Special training in inventory management, supply chain, and logistics.
  • Minimum two-year experience in inventory management.
  • Healthcare experience is a must.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficient in MS Office and back-office software (e.g., ERP).
  • Familiarity with SAP or ORACLE enterprise resource planning software.
  • Physical ability to lift 10-25 pounds and sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl repeatedly.
  • Superior organizational and communication skills.
