- The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for overseeing and enforcing the procedures related to the receipt and dispatch of inventory and services.
- This role ensures that all materials entering or leaving the facility are accurately recorded, inspected, and managed in compliance with company policies and operational standards.
- Follow and enforce safety, quality, and operational guidelines.
- Provide personalized coordinated support for warehouse staff and relevant departments
Receiving Control:
- Verify that incoming shipments from suppliers, match purchase orders and delivery documentation.
- Supervise the picking, packing, and loading processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Ensure proper inspection and quality checks of incoming materials.
- Share with the concerned main warehouse the record of all received goods in the inventory management system, hard copy and/or as a soft copy accurately and promptly.
- Coordinate with the concerned Main warehouse, Pharmacy, nursing team Almoosa Health End users, procurement, finance, FMS, IT teams on discrepancies or returns.
- Collect documents of delivery, receiving vouchers and or returned items from suppliers and end users then share it with concerned main warehouse.
- Coordinate between Main warehouse, suppliers and relevant end user.
Dispatch Control:
- The shipments delivered from Main warehouse to organization departments.
- Supervise the picking, packing, and loading processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Verify and inspection the received shipments from main warehouse to be delivered to end users.
- Communicate dispatch schedules, delays, and order fulfillment status to end users in a timely manner.
- Handle any discrepancies in the shipments, Inventory accuracy between warehouse records and end-user reports. items need to be returned to main warehouse or issues arising from inventory deliveries or requests, and escalate as necessary.
- Confirm that, the warehouse outgoing shipments are aligned with System shipment details
Inventory Accuracy:
- Collecting the damaged and expired items from concerned stores as per IP-AH-SCM-002 Policy to be sent to Main expired items warehouse after verification.
- Perform regular cycle counts and support full inventory audits.
- Investigate inventory variances and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to maintain proper stock levels.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure all inventory movements comply with internal controls and audit requirements.
- Generate reports related to receiving, dispatch, and stock adjustments.
- Support process improvements to enhance accuracy, speed, and compliance in inventory handling.
- Provide personalized coordinated care, and support for staff and families.
- Treat people with dignity, compassion, and respect.
QUALIFICATIONS:
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
From 0- 2 years of experience in inventory control, logistics, or warehouse management- Experience with inventory management systems (e.g., Oracle).
