Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Inventory Control of Raw materials, process chemicals, packaging, and MRO:
  2. Manage and optimize availability of stock to end users.
  3. Maintain and execute the Inventory strategy.
  4. Manage and maintain all MRP master data.
  5. Conduct quality assurance on the ERP for all inventory items (Forecasting, MRP, Excess Stock).
  6. Accurate creation of material master data (new item creation) in accordance with Tronox adopted standards, policies, processes, and procedures.
  7. Identify duplications in material masters and ensure that corrective actions are taken to address the duplication.
  8. Support material standardization decisions through identification of conflicting specifications/requirements.
  9. Identify inventory for disposal when necessary and report excess/redundant inventory.
  10. Develop and execute the inventory auditing strategy in respect of MRP parameters.
  11. Ensure sound stock preservation practices are applied.
  12. Identify slow movers and move them out of the system in accordance with the strategy.
  13. Compile and manage stock-taking procedures and processes.
  14. Compile and manage quality assurance and inspection processes.
  15. Determine assets and provide inputs to redundancy/scrap identification.
  16. Responsible for financial asset disposal authorization.
  17. Participate in and support the implementation of information management technology and infrastructure that supports supply chain management processes in the inventory unit.
  18. Ensure utilization of the relevant ERP module is done in a manner that ensures data integrity.
