Job description

Responsibilities :

• Conceptualise, develop, and present interior design concepts that align with client requirements, project specifications, and industry best practises
• Conduct site surveys, gather client briefs, and analyse space requirements to inform design solutions
• Produce detailed design documentation, including floor plans, elevations, specifications, and colour schemes
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure the seamless integration of interior design into building projects
• Oversee the procurement and placement of furniture, fabrics, and other interior elements
• Manage budgets and timelines to deliver projects efficiently and within scope
• Stay abreast of emerging design trends and technologies to enhance design solutions
• Attend industry events and participate in professional development opportunities

Qualifications :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design

Proven experience as an Interior Designer

Strong technical proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design software

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Proven ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Strong understanding of building codes, materials, and finishes
