Experience in leading a small team of draftsmen to carry out the project requirements for High End fit-out projects in various sectors like entertainment, commercial, and residential.

Experience in guiding, monitoring, and reviewing the shop drawings prepared by juniors for approval.

Experience in material selection and obtaining approvals as per project requirements.

Experience in preparing mood boards, sample boards, and developing new concepts.

Experience in analyzing the discrepancies in drawings vs site vs BOQ and raising the queries through various methods and coordinating with relevant departments when required.

Experience in coordinating with client representatives, consultants, and suppliers for the smooth flow of the project.

Experience in attending project meetings and internal meetings.

Ensuring all vital information and documentation is recorded and maintained.

Reworking and modifying designs based on comments and reviews from management and clients.

Using CAD software and preparing sketches to produce shop drawings / RFI for management and client review approval.

Liaising with the Project Manager and all other relevant departments regarding all design and engineering scheduling. Work closely with the assigned Quantity Surveyors for specific projects.

Experience in site coordination and working in coordination with the project team.

Experience in coordinating with multiple subcontractors, suppliers, and approving their drawings for production.

Experience in preparing shop drawings which require architectural, structural, joinery, and MEP coordination and understanding of all trades involved in the fit-out process.

Experience in preparing drawings in AutoCAD by using Xref, pen assignments, and layouts.

Knowledge in preparing drawings with gypsum systems (e.g., Gyproc, USG Boral, Fermacell etc.).

Knowledge in glass, stone cladding fixation drawings & preparing cutting lists.

Experience in following technical specifications and BOQ to create various technical drawings.

Knowledge of different types of materials being used in the fit-out industry for floors, walls, ceilings, and its installation details is mandatory.

Self-reliance & ability in AutoCAD, 3D Max, 3D modeling, Photoshop, Adobe, Microsoft Office.

Knowledge of working in software like Revit, Navisworks, and coordination would be an advantage.

Knowledge in preparing snag lists.

Liaise and integrate with all relevant engineering disciplines to ensure that the design meets the client's quality, budget, and time requirements.

Perform reviews of third-party designs to ensure compliance with company standards and policies as well as relevant local and international specifications.

Continuously monitor and report the progress of the Fit-out Design architectural work stream projects in terms of safety, budget, schedule, quality, etc.

Contribute to the monitoring and reporting of supply chain key deliverables and associated KPIs.

Contribute to post-project reviews including the identification of opportunities for participating in change initiatives, programs, and projects in alignment with leading practices, improvement of processes, and productivity improvement.
