Instrumentation Technician

The Instrumentation Technician plays a crucial role in the Paper & Paper Product Manufacturing industry, ensuring that all instrumentation and control systems operate efficiently and effectively. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and problem-solving skills to maintain and troubleshoot various instruments and systems used in the production process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instrumentation, electrical systems, and process control, with a focus on optimizing production efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair instrumentation and control systems in the manufacturing facility.
2. Calibrate and test instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
3. Monitor and analyze system performance, making adjustments as necessary to improve efficiency.
4. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve instrumentation issues.
5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and calibration activities.
6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all maintenance activities.
7. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance instrumentation processes.
8. Provide training and support to production staff on instrumentation and control systems.
9. Assist in the development of maintenance schedules and procedures for instrumentation.
10. Stay updated on new technologies and advancements in instrumentation and control systems.
