Job Description:

Job Title: Instrument & Control Technician

Location: Saudi Arabia

Salary: SAR 4,000 + Accommodation & Transportation

Iqama: Transferable Iqama (required)

Role Overview: The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of instrumentation and control systems used to monitor and control engineering systems, machinery, and processes. The technician ensures equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair instruments such as flow meters, pressure transmitters, level sensors, temperature controllers, and analyzers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve instrumentation and control system faults and malfunctions.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on control systems and instrumentation equipment.
  • Interpret technical drawings, P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), and loop diagrams.
  • Configure and maintain PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA systems, and DCS (Distributed Control Systems).
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and calibration records.
  • Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to support production and plant optimization.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Participate in shutdowns, turnarounds, and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and equipment upgrades.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma or associate degree in Instrumentation, Control Systems, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of industrial process instrumentation and control principles.
  • Experience with calibration tools and software.
  • Good knowledge of safety standards and practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
