Job Description
  1. Install, configure, and calibrate geotechnical instruments such as inclinometers, piezometers, strain gauges, settlement plates, extensometers, and data loggers.
  2. Perform field maintenance, inspection, and testing of instrumentation systems to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  3. Collect, record, and validate data from monitoring systems in the field.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to instrument performance and communication.
  5. Coordinate with geotechnical engineers and project teams for proper integration of instrumentation into site investigations and monitoring plans.
  6. Maintain detailed logs and reports on instrumentation status, calibration, and data trends.
  7. Ensure safety and quality standards are met during all activities.
Desired Candidate Profile

We are looking for a skilled Instrument Technician with at least 5 years of experience in geotechnical instrumentation. The candidate will be responsible for installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of geotechnical instruments used in field monitoring. Experience in oil and gas instrumentation is not preferred.
