INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking Instrument & Hydraulic Technician to join our dynamic team. The primary responsibility of Instrument & Hydraulic Technician is to ensure for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of wellhead control systems, instrumentation, hydraulic, and electrical components in oil and gas production facilities. The role ensures the safe and efficient operation of wellheads, emergency shutdown (ESD) systems, and associated equipment, complying with industry safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical & Instrumentation Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain process control instruments, including pressure, temperature, level, and flow transmitters/switch.
- Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation issues.
- Perform loop checks, signal testing, and verification of field instruments.
- Install, maintain, and repair wellhead electrical components, including motors, actuators, and power distribution panels.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults in wellhead control panels, motorized actuators, and power circuits
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control system documentation.
Hydraulic System Responsibilities:
- Repair, and troubleshoot wellhead hydraulic control systems, including High-Integrity Pressure Protection System (HIPPS), surface safety valves (SSVs) and subsurface safety valves (SSSVs).
- Troubleshoot hydraulic failures, leaks, and pressure-related issues.
- Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, P&IDs, and technical drawings.
- Maintain and repair hydraulic power units (HPUs), emergency shutdown systems (ESD) for wellheads.
- Experience with hydraulic components, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Requirements:
To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:
- DAE Instrumentation/BS Electronics
- Minimum 3-4 Years of Industrial Experience
- Industrial Experience along with Familiarity of Industrial Safety Standards is must.
- Oil & Gas and petrochemical experience shall be preferred
- Previous experience working in Saudi Arabia/transferable Iqama/driving license shall be preferred
- Ability to understand & Speak in English clearly.
