Job summary

Saudi Aramco Base Oil Company-Luberef is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Control engineer to ensure integrity and reliability of refinery I&C systems, supporting safe operations and continuous improvement. The role focuses on developing maintenance strategies, troubleshooting field instruments, and supporting design reviews, FAT/SAT, loop checks, and commissioning, with exposure to DCS/PLC/SIS and Saudi Aramco standards.

Candidates should hold a B.Sc.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Instrumentation & Control or Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
• 3-10 years Oil & Gas / Refinery I&C maintenance experience.
• Strong hands-on with transmitters, control valves, analyzers.
• Experience with DCS/PLC/SIS systems.
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop and review instrumentation maintenance strategies.
• Maintain and improve reliability via data analysis and RCA.
• Troubleshoot field instruments and control systems.
• Support projects (design reviews, FAT/SAT, loop checks, commissioning).
• Maintain accurate I&C documentation and procedures.
