Role Overview:We are currently hiring for the position of Instrument & Control Technician who will be responsible for the maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of various instrumentation and control systems. The role demands a strong understanding of process control principles, measurement techniques, and automation systems.Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, calibrate, and repair various instruments (pressure, temperature, level, flow, control valves, analytical instruments).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve faults in instrumentation and control loops.
  • Perform loop checks and system functional tests.
  • Read and interpret loop diagrams, P&IDs, logic diagrams, and schematics.
  • Use calibration tools and software to ensure instrument accuracy.
  • Configure and maintain PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance, calibration, and repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
  • Support installation and commissioning of new systems.
  • Communicate spare part requirements to relevant departments.
  • Guide and support junior technicians when needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma/Vocational Training in Instrumentation & Control or related field.
  • 6 8 years of hands-on experience in instrumentation and control systems.
  • Experience in PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems is a strong advantage.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Must hold a valid and transferable Iqama.
