Job description

INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking an Instrument & Analyzer Technician to join our team based in KSA. This role supports Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Field Services across industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, and Utilities. INTECH provides solutions for Resident, On-Call, and Remote O&M services, contributing to innovative projects with advanced technologies.

What You'll Lead And Deliver
The primary responsibility of an Instrument & Analyzer Technician is to manage installation, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of process analyzers, including Gas Chromatographs, Emerson Micro Motion Coriolis meters, Fork Density meters, and GE Ultrasonic Flow Meters.

Requirements
To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:
  • 6+ Years of experience in Preventive and Remedial Maintenance, Call outs, in the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Minimum DAE in Electronics, with a preferred 2-year apprenticeship in instrumentation.
  • Technical & Soft Skills:
Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in various process control instruments (pressure, temperature, level, and flow sensors).
  • Experience with gas chromatographs, density analyzers, and other process analyzers.
  • Skilled in calibration and maintenance according to industry standards.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting sensors, transmitters, and analyzers, including component replacement.
  • Ability to conduct loop checking for proper communication between field instruments and control systems.
  • Knowledge of PLC/DCS & SCADA systems, including control logic and communication protocols (HART, Modbus, Profibus).
  • Experience with gas detection systems and hazardous environments.
  • Basic understanding of pneumatics & hydraulics.
  • Knowledge of safety standards for hazardous area equipment.
  • Ability to read P&IDs, wiring schematics, and technical manuals.
Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving skills for quick troubleshooting.
  • Attention to detail in calibration and installation.
  • Effective communication with engineers, operators, and management.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with maintenance and operations teams.
