  • Dismantlement: Safely and efficiently break down all installed items post‑event, ensuring materials are correctly packed and returned.
  • Drawing Compliance: Interpret and work from technical drawings, assembly guides, and site layouts to ensure accurate installation.
  • On‑Site Problem‑Solving: Identify and resolve minor technical issues during installation, escalating complex problems to the Installation Manager.
  • Quality Checks: Inspect installed elements against approved drawings and samples, ensuring structural integrity and finish quality.
  • Snag Resolution: Address punch‑list items and snags identified during or after installation promptly.
  • Site Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized work area throughout the installation and dismantlement process.
  • Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Compliance: Follow all site‑specific and company health and safety protocols; use correct PPE at all times.
  • Toolbox Talks: Actively participate in pre‑installation safety briefings and toolbox talks.
  • Hazard Reporting: Identify and immediately report any unsafe site conditions, near‑misses, or equipment issues to the Installation Manager.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate hand tools, power tools, and rigging equipment correctly; operate elevated work platforms (MEWPs) where certified.
  • Asset Care: Maintain and account for all tools, equipment, and installation hardware assigned to the site.
  • Loading & Transport Support: Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting fabricated elements between the workshop and site.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow engineers, subcontractors, and venue staff under the direction of the Installation Manager.

  • Logistics Awareness: Familiarity with load‑in/load‑out procedures, material handling, and transport logistics.
  • Certifications: Working at Height, IPAF/MEWP, or relevant site safety certifications preferred.
  • Software: Basic Microsoft Office proficiency; AutoCAD familiarity is a plus.
  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, or a related technical field preferred; strong field experience is equally valued.
  • Physical Fitness: Reliable, physically fit, and able to perform under high‑pressure, deadline‑driven site conditions.
Typical Working Conditions
  • Environment: Workshop environment with loud noise, dust, heat, and occasional on‑site work.
  • Hours: May require working evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet event deadlines.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, stand for long periods, and work in varied conditions.
