Job Purpose:
Ensure all electrical works and activities comply with established quality standards, technical specifications, and relevant regulations through detailed inspection, testing, and accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical inspections on-site or in workshops according to quality plans and approved specifications.
- Verify electrical materials and equipment received conform to technical specifications and quality certificates.
- Monitor installation, wiring, testing, and electrical connections to ensure correct and safe execution.
- Record observations and deviations from quality standards and report findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate with teams and contractors to resolve any quality-related corrective actions.
- Review and approve inspection and test reports such as insulation resistance tests, continuity tests, and other electrical verifications.
- Participate in quality meetings and performance reviews to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support internal and external quality audits related to electrical works.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in electrical inspection, preferably in industrial or construction environments.
- Strong knowledge of international standards such as IEC, NEC, IEEE, and ISO.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Good understanding of quality control procedures and technical reporting.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Professional certifications in quality or electrical testing (e.g., ISO9001 Lead Auditor, Electrical Safety Certifications) are a plus.
