The Inside Sales Engineer is based in Dhahran, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and caters to all customers in the western region (Saudi Arabia and Bahrain).
In this role, your responsibilities will be:
- Own the team and manage the quotation activities for upstream accounts.
- Set up and manage KPIs for the team and perform performance evaluations.
- Maintain RFQ and PO dashboards for upstream accounts.
- Qualify customer requests for quotations to ensure they meet application and operational needs.
- Prepare timely, technically accurate, and commercially verified customer quotations, offering the best all-round solution, including technical, applications, and Fisher solutions presentations to customers.
- Follow up on quotations with customers as agreed with Outside Sales.
- Negotiate sales orders within the agreed DOA, maintaining accurate records for discussions and RFQ forecasts.
- Ensure purchase orders are compliant before processing for order entry.
- Provide application engineering support for severe service pursuits independently.
- Advise customers on technical solutions and benefits, working with them to update and modify standards and specifications to favor Fisher products.
- Support LBPs/end users with product modifications and capabilities, preparing success stories and identifying industry-specific applications.
- Maintain a complete record of quotation activities for assigned accounts.
- Coordinate with manufacturing and engineering teams regarding lead times and special requirements.
- Attend customer meetings, including site visits, troubleshooting, and site walks.
- Assist Outside Sales with technical discussions and promote new products.
- Ensure activities align with departmental metrics like hit rate and budget.
- Participate in training to stay updated on products and processes.
- Work with consultants, customers, and end users for product pre-specification and pre-selection.
- Coordinate with project management and order fulfillment teams to ensure clean orders with proper documentation.
- Train new team members on control valve engineering, sizing, selection, and quoting strategies.
- Collaborate with other divisions for multi-divisional quotes.
- Lead process improvements and ensure compliance with trade and quality policies.
- Stay informed on market trends and product developments.
- Perform other duties as required, including supporting outside sales.

For this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related field (Mechanical, Instrumentation, Chemical Engineering).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the control valves industry or industrial automation.
- Fisher Certified Junior Master is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Knowledge of Fisher flow control products.
- Experience with KOB3 pursuits and handling MEA customers & EPC for KOB1 & KOB2 projects.
- Experience with FF2 sizing and selection tools (minimum 3 years).
- Familiarity with coordinating with project management, order entry, and fulfillment teams for clean orders.
- Experience supporting in-house engineering support for customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of midstream, refining, and oil & gas processes and applications.
