Job Purpose
To generate and create profitable sales by preparing competitive quotations, administering the sales process from enquiry to order, and providing a first-class service to our clients and wider sales team.
Responsibilities

- Work closely with management to prepare competitive and technically accurate quotations.
- Prepare cost breakdowns, assess margins, and ensure full technical and commercial compliance to maximize order conversion.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process in line with internal procedures and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate and timely CRM records (quotes, orders, client interactions).
- Ensure effective use of business tools and systems (e.g., SAP) in line with company standards.
- Accurately enter sales orders and coordinate supplier sub-orders based on order requirements.
- Create and distribute Bills of Materials (BOMs) where applicable and work instructions aligned with delivery schedules.
- File and manage all sales-related documentation in accordance with ISO quality system requirements.
- Support the outside sales team with appropriate customer interaction to follow up on bids, resolve queries, and support order closure.
- Provide technical and commercial support to internal stakeholders and customers as required.
- Maintain MRC Globals profile within customer procurement portals, including registration and ensuring all certifications and documentation are current and accurately uploaded.
- Identify and escalate potential risks or urgent issues promptly.
- Support colleagues by sharing best practices and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
- Participate in team meetings and cross-functional initiatives as needed.

Education, Experience & Ability Requirements
Any combination of requirements, which provide knowledge and abilities necessary to perform essential duties and responsibilities, will be considered.
- Experience in internal sales, customer service, or technical support within a B2B or distribution environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and CRM platforms.
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Familiarity with oil and gas industry standards and specifications is advantageous.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
