Job Description

• Infrastructure Management: Responsible for overseeing teams/third-party vendors managing data center operations and maintenance, including servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling systems.
• Resource Allocation: Guide and oversee resource allocation and capacity planning to optimize data center resources, implement industry best practices aligned with organizational policies.
• Server Deployment and Configuration: Oversee server deployment, hardware upgrades, software installations, ensuring compliance with performance, security, and standards. Manage procurement processes.
• Network Management: Supervise network configuration, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and security measures against cyber threats.
• Storage Administration: Manage storage systems, provisioning, configuration, data replication, backup solutions, ensuring data integrity and availability.
• Security and Compliance: Enforce security policies, oversee access controls, firewalls, intrusion detection, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and oversee disaster recovery plans, backup procedures, and failover mechanisms for resilience.
• Leadership and Development: Lead and guide teams, assign tasks, provide training, conduct evaluations, foster collaboration.
• Documentation and Change Management: Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to change management policies.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement service process improvements, stay updated with industry trends and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related fields.
• 12+ years in infrastructure & IT operations, with at least 10 years in leadership roles, managing end-to-end IT operations, including vendor guidance on storage and IT solutions.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Experience with ITIL or similar frameworks.
