Responsibilities

Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) is seeking an Industry Consultant.

As an Industry Consultant, you will play a key role within Hexagon ALI’s EMIA Pre-Sales organization, reporting to the Pre-Sales Director. The primary objective is to maintain and expand Hexagon's presence in the Utility & Communications Market. This role involves strategy, sales, support, and technical areas within the EMIA organization. The EMIA Infrastructure Industry Expert provides expertise, pre-sales, and project support to regional teams and partners across EMIA.

This customer-facing role combines industry knowledge with technical expertise to guide clients through solution evaluations, business process improvements, and strategic implementations. You will work closely with sales, marketing, and solution consulting teams to articulate value, shape strategies, and influence buying decisions.

• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and develop account strategies.
• Interpret customer requirements to propose Hexagon ALI solutions.
• Assess customers’ business practices, workflows, and technical environments to recommend suitable Hexagon ALI solutions.
• Conduct pre-sales workshops to define current and future work processes, documenting and communicating requirements.
• Develop cost-benefit analyses, customer requirements, solution definitions, and demonstrate solutions.
• Provide feedback to influence product strategy.
• Maintain relationships with pre-sales teams across regions, sharing lessons learned and strategies.
