Job summary

Jobtailor in Riyadh region is seeking a skilled professional for industrial engineering and business analysis focused on logistics and data-driven improvement. You will analyze operations, design automation solutions, and build compelling reports using SQL and visualization tools to support decision making.

The role requires 4–5 years of relevant experience, strong English communication, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful projects and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or IT or related field.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and analytics.
• Experience in process engineering and industrial engineering, including process mapping and improvisation.
• Project management and business analysis in data/tech for logistics or allied industries.
• Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts (e.g., C++, Java).
• Strong SQL skills for creating, analyzing and troubleshooting complex queries.
• Experience with visualization tools like Power BI or Spotfire.
• Knowledge of relational databases (RDBMS).
• Basic agile practices and being part of Agile teams.
• 4–5 years in industrial engineering and business analysis in similar industry.

Responsibilities

• Study existing operations to identify opportunities and develop automation solutions for processes and reports.
• Act as a business analyst bridging operations and IT to create innovative solutions.
• Develop project business cases and manage them across full lifecycle with cross-functional teams.
• Perform industrial engineering studies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Create and implement SOPs.

Overview

• Acts as a technical expert on complex and specialist subject(s).
• Supports management with the analysis, interpretation and application of complex information, contributing to the achievement of divisional and corporate goals.
• Supports or leads projects by applying area of expertise.
• Managing life cycle of operational improvement with innovative solutions.
• Study existing operations to find opportunities and develop automation solutions to automate process and reports.

Requirements

• Education: bachelor’s degree in engineering / IT or related field
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft suite of products including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and business analytics.

• Project management
• Business analysis expertise in data/tech disciplines for logistics or allied industry
• Basic knowledge on Object oriented programming concepts e.g., C++, Java etc.
• Strong skills in SQL and experience in creating, analyzing and troubleshooting complex SQL queries
• Knowledge of software and engineering principles
• Strong skills in visualization tools like Power BI, Spotfire etc. to develop reporting

• Basic agile practice skills/background with exposure in being a part of Agile teams
• Experience of 4-5 years in Industrial engineering and business analysis in similar industry engineer+ level.
