Job description
Job Purpose

To maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems within milling and feed plant operations, ensuring reliable power supply, equipment safety, and full compliance with applicable electrical standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Accountabilities
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial electrical systems and equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, repairing or replacing defective wiring, components, and devices.
  • Conduct routine inspections of electrical panels, motors, drives, and PLC systems to ensure operational integrity.
  • Record maintenance activities, faults, and corrective actions accurately in ERP systems.
  • Ensure strict compliance with electrical safety standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support engineers during electrical installations, system upgrades, and modification projects.
  • Provide guidance and on-the-job training to junior technicians on safe electrical work practices.
  • Monitor and manage electrical spare parts inventory to ensure availability and cost efficiency.
  • Contribute to energy efficiency and power optimization initiatives within plant operations.
  • Respond to electrical emergencies and restore power safely and promptly to minimize downtime.
What We’re Looking For
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical certification.
  • 3–5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably in manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs, motors, drives, control panels, and industrial electrical systems.
  • Experience using ERP systems (SAP preferred) for maintenance documentation.
  • Excellent troubleshooting capability, safety awareness, and attention to detail.
