Overview:

As the Individual Development Analyst at Al-Qadsiah Club's Academy, you will play a key role in enhancing player performance through tailored analysis, personalised feedback, and performance tracking. You will support the academy’s focus on individual growth and contribute to our mission of unlocking every player’s full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Individual Player Analysis

• Manage and monitor Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for U21 players
• Track player progress over time with personalised video and data analysis
• Identify individual positional improvements and performance patterns
• Create player profiles and benchmark against positional peers
• Design training tasks and drills based on analytical insights
• Support targeted training sessions aligned with IDPs

Real-time Analysis (Training and Matches)

• Tag and review performance data linked to individual development goals
• Upload and structure video data for coaching review
• Categorise performance actions for structured evaluation

Collaboration and Reporting

• Work closely with coaches to align on individual development approaches
• Provide holistic development support in collaboration with all departments
• Present analysis and metrics in strategy and coaching forums

Academy Education Model & General Operation

• Monitor player engagement with analysis tools and video platforms
• Contribute to standardising terminology and development language across staff
• Provide audiovisual support across departments (methodology, performance, goalkeeping, etc.)
• Adhere to club regulations and responsibilities
• Support academy-wide initiatives and participate in ongoing improvement efforts
• Undertake any other duties as required by the line manager or Academy Technical Director

Qualifications:

Essential:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Analysis or a related field
• Certification in Football Scouting & Analysis (e.g., PFSA, Barça Innovation Hub, FA Analysis)

Desirable:

• Master’s Degree in Analysis or related field
• UEFA Coaching Licenses or formal tactical training

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

Essential:

• Experience as a performance analyst in professional football (academy or first team)
• Strong tactical understanding of systems and structures
• Ability to translate technical data into actionable coaching insights
• Proficiency in analysis tools such as HUDL, Wyscout, and Sportscode
• Able to meet deadlines under pressure and manage competing priorities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Skilled in report and presentation development
• Experience in analysing and interpreting football performance data
• Experience in designing player-specific training drills and sessions
• Fluent in English

Desirable:

• Background in individual player development
• Experience in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East
• Multilingual (Spanish, Arabic, English)
