Responsibilities:
- Contribute to nursing policies and procedures that conform to current standards of nursing practice and operational policies while maintaining compliance with accreditation standards.
- Ensure compliance with CBAHI standards and other regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other medical team members to improve the quality of services and resolve identified problems.
- Participate in daily or weekly management team meetings to discuss updates, resident complaints, and concerns.
- Monitor the infection control program to provide a safe environment and prevent disease transmission.
- Promote compliance with accident prevention procedures, rules, and safe work practices.
- Monitor incidents and complaints daily, identify unusual occurrences as per hospital policy, and report them promptly for appropriate action.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree.
- Master’s Degree preferred.
- Current registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties as a Registered Nurse/Nurse Technician, or completion of dataflow verification.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of managerial experience.
- Technical nursing experience.
- Relevant certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP, depending on specialty and training.
Skills and Competencies:
- Knowledge of regulations established by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
