Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Contribute to nursing policies and procedures that conform to current standards of nursing practice and operational policies while maintaining compliance with accreditation standards.
  2. Ensure compliance with CBAHI standards and other regulations.
  3. Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other medical team members to improve the quality of services and resolve identified problems.
  4. Participate in daily or weekly management team meetings to discuss updates, resident complaints, and concerns.
  5. Monitor the infection control program to provide a safe environment and prevent disease transmission.
  6. Promote compliance with accident prevention procedures, rules, and safe work practices.
  7. Monitor incidents and complaints daily, identify unusual occurrences as per hospital policy, and report them promptly for appropriate action.

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree.
  2. Master’s Degree preferred.
  3. Current registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties as a Registered Nurse/Nurse Technician, or completion of dataflow verification.
  4. Minimum of 2-3 years of managerial experience.
  5. Technical nursing experience.
  6. Relevant certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP, depending on specialty and training.

Skills and Competencies:

  1. Knowledge of regulations established by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
  2. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  3. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  4. Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
