Job Description
The Imports Supply planning Senior Specialist is responsible for ensuring optimal product availability for imported items by managing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and aligning supply with forecasted demand. This role involves close collaboration with the commercial team, demand planners, and suppliers to maintain efficient inventory levels and support Nahdi’s availability targets. The Imports Inbound Supply planning manager contributes to effective supply planning processes and data-driven decision-making to meet business goals.
Accountabilities
- Purchase Order and Inventory Management
- Process purchase orders in compliance with company policies and inventory requirements.
- Track and monitor the status of all inbound orders, maintaining regular communication with suppliers to ensure adherence to agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Adjust order schedules and quantities based on forecast updates and stock targets to ensure consistent product availability.
- Demand Alignment and Forecasting monitor
- Support demand alignment by analyzing forecast data and sales trends to refine supply plans.
- Coordinate with suppliers / Logistics teams to confirm order quantities and timelines, adjusting plans as needed to respond effectively to demand changes.
- Supplier Relationship Management
- Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, ensuring service levels and delivery schedules meet company standards.
- Monitor supplier performance and provide feedback to support continuous improvement in fulfillment and reliability.
- Inventory Analysis and Optimization
- Analyze inventory levels and ordering patterns to identify opportunities for optimized stock turnover and efficient order cycles.
- Implement cost-effective inventory practices that align with demand and stock targets.
- Availability Monitoring and Risk Mitigation
- Proactively monitor stock levels, identifying potential stockouts and taking action to maintain availability targets.
- Collaborate on contingency plans to address supply risks and ensure consistent stock availability.
- Process Improvement and Reporting
- Contribute to process improvements aimed at enhancing planning accuracy and streamlining order processes.
- Maintain accurate records on inventory and supply data, generating reports on key metrics to support data-driven planning decisions.

Job Requirement
Education
- Bachelor degree in relevant field, Industrial engineering, business or related
Experience
- 3 -5 Year of Experience in supply chain and overseas shipping
Computer Skills
- MS Office Suite – SQL – Oracle applications – Advanced database management.
